Captain’s Board

 12 years later the society is as big, with over sixty members, and stronger then when it first started. During the year Casey’s have seven outings plus a weekend away down the country.Two of these outings are are the President’s Prize and the Captain’s prize. Liam Casey is the president, from when the society was founded. Each year there is a different captain, this year the captain is David Hore, next year it will be Noel Bracken. Each captain’s prize is played on his own course which alternates between The Heath G.C. and Mountrath G.C., where as the President’s Prize is played on different courses, but with Longford G.C. getting a visit every two or there years, Liam’s home town.

Through the years Casey’s have visited many fine courses such as Birr G.C., Portumna G.C., Edenderry G.C., Garyhinch G.C. and Rathdowny G.C..
